ENDOWED CHAIRS AND PROFESSORSHIPS
Endowed faculty positions make a tremendous difference in the university's ability to retain top faculty and to recruit new professors who bring fresh perspectives to campus.
When you establish an endowed chair, the endowment is invested, with only a portion of the annual investment earnings spent for the chair. The annual allocation can be used to supplement a professor’s salary and to provide funds for professional conferences, research, or equipment.
Utah Valley University welcomes gifts in any amount to help UVU faculty members with the expenses of curriculum development, research, and other academic purposes. Private gifts also support annual awards for recognizing excellence in teaching.
