Priorities and Goals
priorities and goals
Students of today and tomorrow need financial help more than ever. With the decline of state support for higher education, UVU students have seen tuition increase nearly 100 percent since 1990, with out-of-state students paying the largest increase. And because of economic and demographic changes, more students than ever are seeking a college education today.

Wee Care Center
The Utah Valley University Wee Care Center was designed to meet the childcare needs of student parents at UVU. First priority is given to those who are low-income, and all services are based on a sliding scale.
President Holland hopes to increase the size of the Wee Care Center with a new facility.
Business Resource Center
The UVU Business Resource Center will connect Utah's Business owners and entrepreneurs with resources available in the public, private, and academic sectors. Its function is to minimize failure rate, maximize efficiency in service, accelerate business growth and retention, and measure results. The end goal is to increase revenues in the region and to provide quality high paying jobs to its citizens.
