CNS - ACM Machine Tech Scholarship

  1. Recipient must not have other scholarship awards.
  2. Recipient must be a declared CSIS major.
    • If the Recipient is working on a two-year degree, he/she must have completed at least one year of course work prior to the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
    • If the Recipient is working on a four-year degree, he/she must have completed at least two years of course work prior to the semester for which the scholarship is awarded.
  3. Recipient may be a resident or non-resident of Utah.
  4. Recipient must maintain a minimum 2.75 GPA.
  5. Recipient must be a member of the UVU Student Chapter of the ACM one semester prior to the award.
  6. Recipient must write and submit a letter indicating his/her:
    • Contribution to the goals of the Student Chapter of the ACM
    • Participation in chapter activities
    • Service to the community at large, representing UVU and/or the AMC student chapter
    • Financial need
