Engaged Learning

In an effort to provide engaged learning opportunities through community, the Center for Engaged Learning was developed. The Center has been given the charge to collaborate with UVU's academic community as well as student affairs to help create opportunities for service and engagement within the region.

A number of grants have been received that either directly or indirectly have an impact on Developmental Math or other math courses and programs at UVU. These include:

• Developmental Math Intervention (Jane Loftus)
• Under-represented Math & Science (David Jordan)
• Math & Money (Max Aeschbacher, Keith White, Melinda Nevels)
• GSU Math Badge (Kate McPherson)

Anyone can apply for an engaged learning grant.  Applications for CEL engaged learning grants will be accepted and reviewed twice per year. View next CEL grant deadline.
