Trudy Christensen has been involved in creating digital media products for over twenty-five years. After earning a PhD in Instructional Psychology from BYU, she worked for several innovative software companies designing and producing a variety of educational software products for the K-12, college, and adult education markets.
After ten years working for educational software companies, Trudy started her own consulting business, Learning Connections, Inc., designing and producing educational software and web-based training for local and national clients.
Trudy comes to UVU following several years teaching graduate and undergraduate courses part-time in the Instructional Psychology and Technology Department at BYU. Trudy is passionate about finding better and more effective ways to encourage and promote learning and exploring ways that technology can help. She is excited to be at UVU because of the emphasis on learning by doing and engaged learning.
