Facilities Available

Your first step in planning your event should be contacting Leslie Farnsworth.  Scheduling of any of the conference rooms, the Grand Ballroom, or Centre Stage in the Sorensen Student Center is handled through the Student Center Office at 801- 863-8612. Other campus facilities can be scheduled through the Campus Scheduling Office at 801-863-8883. All UVU facilities are smoke-free buildings. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Catering services are available anywhere on UVU's main campus.

Menus

Menu choices are available for all preferences including vegetarian and vegan meals. If regular choices on our menu do not reflect the needs of our customers, please give us adequate advanced notice and we will gladly prepare a special menu. Special meals cannot be prepared at the time of the event.

An estimated number of guests that will not change more than 20% is required 5 working days prior to the event. A nominal charge may be added for numbers that change more than 20%. Confirmations of the guest count must be made 72 to 48 hours before the event. Events scheduled less than 72 hours before the actual event date will be charged an additional $25.00 late service fee. UVU Catering will prepare extra food for up to 5% above the guaranteed number of guests on all buffets.  The final invoice will be adjusted to reflect the guaranteed number of guest or the actual number of meals served, whichever is greater.  There will be a 90% down payment required at least 5 days prior to your event.  Please contact the Catering office to make all arrangements.

Costs and Services

All meal prices include table service, standard table decoration, room set up, clean up, full linen service, and room rental. Buffet table decorations and center pieces when provided are the property of UVU. A charge will be accessed in the event of removal of any of these items.

*An additional charge of 15% of the event total per hour may be accessed for events that do not serve at scheduled times. Prices do not include sales tax of 7.85% and a 18% service charge.

All menu items and prices are subject to change without notice.

UVU is the SOLE provider of food and beverage on campus.

No outside food or beverage may be brought in.
