Utah Valley University is pleased to announce the 27th Annual Expanding Your Horizons conference! This conference is being held on Saturday, March 2nd, 2013 in the UVU Sorensen Student Center. This is a math, science, and technology focused career conference for 6th through 12th grade girls from Utah and surrounding states.
Each year over 800 girls, parents, and educators come to explore educational and career opportunities in a variety of high-paying career fields; all presented by professional women!
Girls will be able to attend three hands-on workshops; choosing from over 40 different career fields that include Astronomy, Dentistry, Forensic Science, Medicine, Rocket & Space Science, Veterinary Medicine and many more. Parents and educators are also encouraged to attend and enjoy specialized workshops that will give resources on how to help girls succeed in their educational, career and life pursuits. EYH also features an energizing keynote speaker, interactive booths, commemorative t-shirt, snack, lunch, and a packet of related materials.
