Empowering Your Tomorrow Boys Conference

The Equity in Education Center at Utah Valley University is pleased to offer the Empowering Your Tomorrow conference. This conference is designed for 6th - 12th grade boys and will introduce them to a variety of exciting careers they can pursue if they continue their education. This conference is brought to you by the sponsors of the
Expanding Your Horizons conference, which is held annually for girls.

Boys will be able to attend three hands-on workshops, choosing from a wide variety of careers ranging from Firefighter, Highway Patrol Trooper, Computer Programmer, Zoologist, to Graphic Designer, and many more! Parents and educators are also encouraged to register and enjoy specially designed workshops on how to help boys succeed in their educational, career, and life pursuits. Empowering Your Tomorrow also features an energizing keynote speaker, interactive booths, commemorative t-shirt, lunch, snack, and a packet of conference materials! 

Scholarships are available to boys from low-income families to attend Empowering Your Tomorrow at little or no cost. In addition, one parent or educator may attend free of charge for each 5 students they bring to the conference!  Please contact the Equity Center for further details at (801) 863-8498 or equity@uvu.edu before registering.
