The Equity in Education Center houses a free resource library available to the public. The resources include videos focusing on the following topics: effective communication, dealing with discrimination and prejudice in society, the history of prejudice in the United States, recruiting and educating on careers in trades and technology, women in nontraditional careers, the history of the women's movement, history of the civil rights movement, effective educational practices, the impacts and current realities of education, preventing sexual harassment and violence, media images of women and their impacts, media and societal pressures on boys and men, and other topics. Other resources include a collection of books dealing with a variety of issues impacting and developing understanding of equity concerns. Related newsletters, posters, brochures, and handouts are also available to the public.
