 Instructor Charlet Jorgensen

Charlet Jorgensen, It was only yesterday when I stood frozen, terrified that I would become stuck between each pair of suspended white marble steps and fall into a mangled heap on the floor below at BYU. Only with the tugs of my mother’s hands did I ascend and follow her to the class she was teaching. The whole effect ironically linked teaching to adventure and my future as a teacher. I started teaching flute, and elementary topics in Utah before moving to the Washington D.C and then to South Korea for four years of teaching. Now I am in my ninth year if teaching English to second language speakers. Compared to my travels through seven other countries and living to coast here, teaching is ever just as challenging. My rewards come by learning about life from my students.
