• Integrates essential language tools and skills needed to perform basic communicative tasks:

  • speaking, and
  • vocabulary
• Emphasizes building a learning community within the classroom
• Includes
  • lecture,
  • discussion, and
  • collaborative class work
    

Students who complete this course should advance to high-beginning English level.
