While the ESL Program tuition is lower than regular UVU tuition for non-resident and international students, the quality remains the same. Here are some of the advantages of the ESL Program at UVU:
  • Students accepted into the ESL Program are matriculated into UVU. That means once you complete the ESL program, you continue your studies at UVU without reapplying- no TOEFL test needed!
  • Level IV classes may count towards earning your degree. See your major advisor for more information.

Twenty credit of Level IV classes fulfills the foreign language requirement for a A.A. or BA degree. Please see your major advisor for specific information.

Admissions Policy

Utah Valley University will maintain an "Open Door" policy, admitting all applicants whose qualifications indicate they may benefit from the instructional programs offered and are generally beyond the age of high school enrollment.

UVU is committed to the concept of equal opportunity without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, or other legally impermissible factors.
