Founded in Salt Lake City in 2000, the Society for Ethics Across the Curriculum (SEAC) has over 200 members nationally and globally. Open to all academic disciplines, the society sponsors a yearly conference and the publication of a twice-yearly journal, Teaching Ethics. Many members of the society are faculty and institutions interested in integrating ethics into courses, general education requirements, department offerings, and student and community programming efforts. More information about this nonprofit society can be found at the official website. Numerous colleges and universities sponsor various programs for the society to keep membership costs low. Membership for faculty members is $35 per year. This fee includes two issues of Teaching Ethics.
Teaching Ethics is an official publication of the SEAC. Originally sponsored by FIPSE, Teaching Ethics is published by Western Michigan University. Click here to view the Teaching Ethics journal archive.
