| Join host Dr. Elaine Englehardt as she holds discussions with several of the speakers in the Utah Democracy Project. Currently, there are seven sessions available for streaming, and you can also check these out from the Center for the Study of Ethics or at the UVU Library. Sessions included include: Vietnam, with special guests poet Ken Reagle and Wayne Hanewicz; Topaz, a look into the work surrounding the Japanese internment camp in Delta, Utah; The Utah Supreme Court, a visit with Utah Supreme Court Chief Justice Christine Durham (winner of the the 2008 Excellence in Ethics Award); Journalism, a visit with NYTime columnist Andrew Revkin; Philosophy, featuring speakers who gave a tribute to the late Robert Solomon and his work; The Middle East, a visit with Dr. Omar Kader; and Human Rights, a visit with former SLC Mayor Rocky Anderson and Dr. Michael Minch. |
