This course is divided into two sections.  One section focuses on using Blackboard Vista in the classroom and the other focuses on other uses of technology in the classroom.

In the Blackboard Vista section participants will get an overview of Blackboard Vista and all its tools.  Vista can be used to communicate, administer quizzes and assignments, distribute materials, and display grades.

This hands on workshop will walk instructors through implementing these tools to free up valuable course time and enhance face to face class interactions.

In the other section participants will learn about a variety of tools that can be utilized in the classroom to facilitate more of an engaged learning process. Some tools that will be covered include: powerpoint, Google, blogging, Picasa, and clickers.
