Aid Denial
Sometimes, students who apply for financial aid are not eligible. Students may be denied aid for any of the following
reasons:
- The student does not demonstrate financial need as determined by the Financial Aid & Scholarship Office after a complete analysis of the family income and assetsby information submitted through the FAFSA and UV Link Financial Aid Data Form.
- The student's financial need was met from outside sources such as BIA, WIA, AFDC, etc.
- The student applied after critical dates and/or funds were no longer available.
- The student did not meet all the eligibility requirements such as not being a permanent resident non-citizen of the United States, not being "aid eligible" when admitted, not meeting satisfactory academic progress (SAP), financial aid owed to the school or Federal Government, etc.
Reinstatement
