Exceptional Performance Scholarships
To be eligible for these scholarships, you must be currently admitted to UVU, have submitted transcript(s) (either High School if just graduated or college if transferred), and have
submitted ACT or SAT scores (if applicable). Most of the scholarships, highlighted within this web site and the many others not mentioned require the Comprehensive Online Scholarship Application.There are a few scholarships that do NOT require the Comprehensive Online Scholarship Application, but it would be to the benefit for the student to complete and submit the online form. - Require a cumulative GPA from 2.0 - 3.0 and 12 'earned' credit hours per semester.
- Award amounts will vary with the maximum being full-tuition for one or two semesters.
- These scholarships are NOT renewable. The student can reapply.
- Residents and non-residents may apply, except Sterling Scholar (see below)
- The online application may not be required.

Sterling Scholar
This award is a one-year, full tuition for high school winners and a four-year full tuition for Region and State Winners and runner-ups. Must complete online scholarship application.- Incoming freshman.
- Residency is required.
- GPA required 3.0 to receive shcolarship.
- RETENTION:
- 1 year 3.0 cumulative GPA and have 12 'earned' credit hours per semester.
- 4 year 3.5 cumulative GPA and have 12 'earned' credit hours per semester.
