UTAH RESIDENT TRANSFER STUDENT Scholarship Guide
Definition of a RESIDENT TRANSFER STUDENT
You are considered a Utah Resident Transfer Student if you meet the definition of
a Utah Resident, you have attended another college after graduation from high school,
and are new to Utah Valley University.
To be considered for the most scholarship opportunities, complete the Scholarship
Application. You may be required to provide an essay or additional information. Scholarships
will be awarded based on the availability of funds.
- Departmental, Need-Based, Private, and Leadership Scholarship Application Deadline: February 1st (Freshman/Transfer students must complete the Utah Valley University Admissions process
at least three weeks before the deadline.)
- UVU Academic Merit Scholarship Deadline (according to the resident transfer grid): To be considered for the UVU Academic Merit Scholarship, no additional application needed, you must be admitted to UVU with your final college
transcript by: May 15th
