Driver's Requirements
Sedan, Mini Van, SUV
Risk Management Defensive Driver Training (DDT) - required every 2 years. This training is available online.
Please follow the instructions and watch the online video and complete the online test. When logging into the test under the supervisors email please put
fleet@uvu.edu
when prompted. Please call the UVU Fleet for your Employee Login #, (801-863-8720) before starting the test. We also need the following if you are a new driver.
• Photocopy of a drivers license
• Department name
• Department Index Code
This information can either be mailed to us at campus mail stop #156, or faxed to 801-863-7379.

12-passenger Van Requirements
Because of a rollover risk the State only allows 9 occupants, including the driver, to ride in a 12-passenger van. In addition to the above requirements, you will be required to watch "Coaching The Van Driver II" before the rental is completed. This training film is available on DVD and may be purchased from the Fleet Office for $25. This fee will be charged to the department. The van training course is valid for 2 years.
