Q: How do I apply?
A: Simply visit our website, www.uvsc.edu/apply and click on the “Easy/Apply Now” button. Complete the online application and pay the $35 application fee.
Q: Do I need to take the ACT?
A: All students, under age 21, are required to submit ACT or SAT scores for registration. These scores are important for class placement and scholarships.
Q: Is there on-campus housing?
A: No. However, there are dozens of privately owned student housing complexes near within 10 minutes of UVU.
Q: How do I register for classes?
A: Students can register for courses using UVLink or by visiting the One Stop. First time students must complete the Webstart Pre-Advisement course and meet with an academic advisor prior to registering for courses.
Q: I’m a concurrent enrollment student, do I need to re-apply if I plan on attending UVU as a full-time student?
A: If you have been enrolled in a concurrent enrollment course during your senior year then you do not need to reapply. However, you should complete all other “getting started” tasks such as completing Webstart pre-advisement, submitting transcripts and ACT/SAT scores, meeting with an academic advisor, and registering for classes.
Q: What kinds of scholarships do you offer?

Q: Will I be able to get in to Utah Valley University?
A: Yes! UVU will have an open enrollment policy.
Q: Is tuition going to go up as a result of University status?
A: Tuition rates increase slightly each year statewide. However, the State of Utah has specifically allocated $8 million annually to cover the costs associated with university status. Any increase in tuition will not be due to the move to UVU.
Q: How do I schedule a campus tour?
A: Call the Prospective Student Services Office at (801) 863-8811 to arrange a tour of the campus and meet with specific departments.
