UVU sits in the heart of the beautiful Utah Valley against the backdrop of the Wasatch mountain range. The campus is right off of the interstate and easily accessible. Although it is a large campus - serving almost 30,000 students - the architectural design is uniquely interconnected so that students can cross campus almost completely indoors. The new state-of-the-art science building and the award-winning design of the digital learning center make the campus both practical and eye-catching.
Come visit us and our knowledgeable Wolverine Ambassadors will give you a 45-minute guided tour of UVU's main campus in Orem. Campus tours are given Monday through Friday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. with extra tours at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. No tours are given on Saturday or Sunday. These are walking tours and we provide free parking in our student lots (more instructions available on registration page).
Whether you enjoy outdoor adventures or prefer staying indoors, you can find it all in Utah Valley. Located in Orem, just 41 miles south of Salt Lake City, UVU is nestled between the beautiful Wasatch Mountains and Utah Lake. That means you can go skiing (water or snow) year round. If outdoor activities are not your taste, there are two major malls just minutes away from campus as well as a vibrant local art and music scene.
UVU hosts special on-campus events designed so that you can come visit the university and get a taste of what UVU life is really like. Check out the events below to find the one that suits you best.
