This list is not a complete or priority list of funding needs for the institution, but gives you an idea of some specific areas where you can be of assistance:
- President's Fund - donations to aid in the area of greatest need determined by the president
- General Scholarship Fund - need-based and academic merit scholarships awarded to students pursuing an education at UVU
- Library Fund - monetary donations to increase holdings or gifts of books, computer equipment and journals all help the library provide excellent academic support
- Wrestling Program - equipment and a training area needed for UVU's newest collegiate-sponsored sport
- Grants for Student and Faculty Research - professional and monetary assistance is needed to enhance student education and faculty development through research projects and scholarly work
- Endowed Faculty Professorships - to ensure funding doesn't affect the number of faculty positions or quality of professors, an endowment can be established to maintain a professorship or department chair in the area or school of the donor's choice
- Interpreters for the Deaf - professional and knowledgeable interpreters are needed to answer the growing need among Utah's largest deaf population in higher education housed at UVU
- Sleeping Rainbow Ranch - equipment and funding is needed for remodeling and establishment of this UVU outdoor research facility in Capitol Reef National Park
- Turning Point - the Center that helps women, especially single mothers, to go to school, find child care and be provided with funding and resources to make a better life for themselves and their children through education, needs clothing, toys, funding, and other assistance
- Student Leadership Conference - a community and campus annual program that brings in nationally recognized speakers to give leadership council and inspiration to the high school and college-aged leaders of tomorrow could use sponsors for promotion, transportation and training fees
