Before purchasing any computer equipment, please consult with your Area Technician.

  • Computer accessories

    • Monitors, standard black USB keyboards and Mice can be purchased through the Computer Shop web page.
      Speakers, wireless keyboards, mice and other computer accessories can be purchased with a Pro Card.  These are some suggested sites for purchasing computer accessories:

  • Computers

    • Both PC and Apple desktops and portables can be purchased for campus use from the Computer Shop.

  • Printers

    • View the Technology Standard for printers

    • Laser B&W or Color

      • • HP is the standard for all laser printers.  Workgroup printers must have a built in Ethernet card and be compatible with HP WebJet Admin
        • Recommended Black & White laser printers are LaserJet 1505n or newer and Color LaserJet 1518n for Color printers.
        • Lab printers must be LaserJet 4000 or newer in order to be compatible with the Print Counter System.

    • Inkjet

      • HP is the standard for inkjet printers

    • Multi-function/Copiers

      • No standard has been established for large capacity and multi-function printers that print 30+ppm.
