Introducing The Life Connection (TLC), a new wellness and employee assistance program benefit for all employees

We are pleased to announce an enhancement to UVU's wellness and employee assistance program. As of July, The Life Connection (TLC) program became available to benefit-eligible employees through our new partner, Behavioral Health Care Options. TLC provides UVU employees access to programs that encourage individuals to seek assistance for any issue or concern before a problem becomes serious.
TLC: Wellness Program
As part of the Wellness Program, benefit-eligible employees have access to Live Well, a powerful new tool to live fit, lean, and healthy.
Live Well allows you to create a customized Web portal to manage health-related goals, including:
- smoking cessation
- weight management and fitness
- wellness coaching
- health risk assessments
- tips, trackers, assessments and other tools
TLC: Employee Assistance and Worklife Program
Through the Employee Assistance and Worklife Program, employees and their families can utilize no-cost services, including:
- confidential therapy sessions
- 24-hour crisis support
- professional legal and financial consultations via telephone
- assistance locating care centers for children or the elderly
- monthly on-line seminars featuring expert speakers
- many more services to help you balance your life!
