Wellness
Orem Fitness Center Passes $12 per person includes spouse and dependent children under the age of 24. Go to the Wellness Programs website listed below to sign up. Wellness Programs also offers various one-on-one nutritional counseling, weight management programs and can set up a personalized exercise program for employees.
Wellness Programs also offers a variety of screenings for Cholesterol, Body Fat Composition, Glucose, and Blood Pressure. Fitness Equipment is available in their office to be purchased or checked out. Walking Programs, Diabetes Prevention Program, and Health Risk Appraisals are also available. Student Health Services:
Available Medical Services as a Basic Exam, Physical Exam, Breathing Treatment, D-Tetanus Immunization, Hepatitis A/B Immunization, TB Skin Test, Pregnancy Test, Cholesterol Test and Physician Services. Price range from $10.00-$50.00. Mental health Services are also available from Therapy Sessions at $10.00, Pre-Marital/Couples Therapy, ADHD Evaluation Report- $30.00, and Psychiatric Services for $22.00
Activity Center/Physical Education Facilities:
Use of the facilities is free to all employee but PE issued clothing must be worn, and an ID is required to check out clothing such as a UV Card or drivers license. You may purchase a spouse card for $20.00 per year or a family card for $30.00 per semester. Faculty/Staff hour is held daily from 12-1:00pm and when classes are not being held. Family members under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The Adventure Resource Center:
The center provides outdoor equipment rentals, retail items, and a full resource library with maps, books and videos. Items available include cross country ski equipment, camping equipment, canoes, rafts, kayaks, backpacks, family tents, and snowboards. Call 863-7052 or visit their web page www.uvsc.edu/outdoored/
Athletics Department:
You may receive up to ½ off the price of the general public. To purchase tickets online visit http://wolverinegreen.cstv.com/
And on the bottom left hand side select tickets. Enter in all information including department and discount will be calculated for you. This is for Single or Family Passes.
Food Services:
Green meal plan sign up for $25.00 and receive a 5% discount. For Gold Meal Plan you pay $495.00 a semester and save 20%. Use your UVU mug for a refill and pay only $0.69.
The Bookstore:
Faculty and staff receive 10% off everything but textbooks and computers.
