10/09 UVU.Jobs Employment Site Access: Starting Wednesday, October 28 you will be able to post jobs and review applications in the UVU.Jobs employment site via a link in UVLink instead of logging in to an outside website. See UVU.Jobs Employment Site Access for more information.

8/09 New Offices: The Employment team has moved into new offices just outside the main entrance to HR. If you have new hires that need paperwork continue to send them to HR and a sign will direct them where to go. Because we have more space we will not be holding a New Hire Express outside of the HR offices.

6/09 Updated requisition workflow: When you submit requisitions to post jobs on the UVU.Jobs employment website, they will go directly to HR for review. The VPs are still responsible for the personnel budgets in their areas so they should know what you are doing, but they will no longer need to approve every requisition in this system before it posts.

2/09 Criminal Background Checks: UVU implementing pre-employment criminal background checks beginning 2/19/09. Departments are responsible for getting waiver and authorization forms signed and returned to Human Resources. Learn more about departmental responsibilities here.
