11/13 Beginning November 25, 2013, UVU’s job posting and applicant tracking system will be upgraded. The new system will support paperless processes that eliminate redundancy, improve tracking, accountability, and transparency. It also improves supervisors’ access and oversight, accelerates approvals, increases communication with applicants and new hires, increases reporting capabilities, and reduces paper waste. Enhanced applicant capabilities and features include bookmarks, email a friend, RSS feeds and professional website link attachments.

3/13 Adjunct Applications: Adjuncts who are interested in returning to teach for the 2013-2014 academic year need to re-apply by May 15.

10/12 Part-time Offers: New hire part-time staff hourly rates will now be set at the department level - no need for HR review. Before extending an offer to the top candidate, review the salaries of your staff to make a fair and equitable offer within the posted range. Contact your HR rep as soon as the offer is accepted so they can initiate the background check and other processes. 

11/11 Online Background Checks: The background check process is now completely online so you will no longer need to have new hires sign a consent form. For more information about the new procedure see the announcement.
