Position: Manager - Event Center Ticket Office

Position Summary:

Manage and supervise all aspects of UCCU Center ticket office, selling of sponsorships, oversee all marketing efforts for events as well as general public relations efforts for the UCCU Center.  Other responsibilities include parking operations and vending operations for all vending machines located in the UCCU Center.


Essential Functions, Major Duties, and/or Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the UCCU Center Ticket Office.  30%
  • Oversee all financial responsibilities as well as maintain internal controls within the UCCU Center Ticket Office and assist with accounting transactions for the UCCU Center. 30% 
  • Manage all ticketing affairs pertaining to the UVU Athletic Department, (i.e. season tickets, game day ticketing operations, accounting and reporting functions, etc.)  20%
  • Oversee all functions of marketing and sponsorship sales for the UCCU center, (i.e. specific event marketing and general overall marketing of the building and website). 20%


Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • Will be supervising 5 - 10 part-time employees. 

Special Requirements of the Position:
  • Will be working some long days, nights, weekends, and holidays.



Graduation from an accredited institution with a bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, public administration, marketing, advertising, physical education, recreation management or a related field; OR a four years of experience related to the summary of duties described.    

  • Knowledge of budgetary and financial processes & procedures as they relate to entertainment and sporting events ticketing.  
  • Ability to manage an automated ticket office.  
  • Ability to manage and supervise a staff.  
  • Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision making skills.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively.  
  • Skill in report writing and record keeping .  
  • Ability to meet and deal with the public
