The Coordinator for Graduation reports directly to the Assistant Director of Graduation and GTS Project Manager. Performs as the lead Graduation Advisor within the Graduation Office and is responsible for coordinating the Graduation office functions and the disseminating of new information to all Graduation staff. Advisor responsibilities include informing all students, advisors, faculty, and staff of University policies and procedures relating to all graduation requirements. Additionally, they are responsible for the final approval of all degrees granted in accordance with the policies set forth by the faculty, Northwest Accreditation, and the Utah State Board of Regents. Other duties include the awarding of degrees in the computer system, reviewing of applications and the creating and issuance of all diplomas. Graduation also plays a substantial roll in the Commencement Activities each year. The Coordinator will also serve on the Commencement Committee for those activities.
