Position Summary:

Under the general direction of the Director of Institutional Research,  will assist in the direction and vision of the department. Coordinate and supervise the completion of reporting for the office (including Third Week, Perkins, ACT Survey, and NCAA). Supervise and maintain the departmental databases. Direct the call center employees and operations. Develop the vision and coordinate the efforts of maintaining the Institutional Research web page.

Essential Functions, Major Duties, and/or Accountabilities:
  • Provides creative and technical leadership and vision for Institutional Research in conjunction with the Director.
  • Directs reporting for the Office of Institutional Research including State and Federal reporting, National Surveys, and Compliance reporting.
  • Supervises Call Center operations including hiring, terminating, and performance of employees, as well as policies and procedures that govern and direct the call center.
  • Manages, coordinates, and assists in the maintaining, updating, and disseminating official information via the Institutional Research web page.
  • Perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned.

  • Intermediate Research Analyst 

    Special Requirements of the Position:
    • N/A


    Graduation from an accredited institution with a Ph.D. or master degree and two years experience in Institutional Research or related field to the essential duties.

    • Supervisory experience in hiring, training, and directing the work of employees.
    • Knowledge of project management and delegation techniques.
    • Experience with relational database theory in the construction of data sets and analysis.
    • Ability to carry a project from inception to completion including instrument development, samples, distribution, collection, analysis, and reporting/recommendations.
    • Experience with publication in professional journals and the news media.
    • Ability to communicate highly complex materials orally and in writing.
    • In-depth knowledge of higher education systems and issues.
