Under the direction of the Associate Vice President - Director Athletics, the Associate Director - Athletic External Affairs will: oversee and manage all athletic programs; provide professional leadership to the athletic department; direct and coordinate all student-athletic compliance activities, including NCAA rules and regulations and UVU policies and procedures; set strategic direction, develop and implement related policies and procedures; establish funding, and provide operational planning, budgeting and assessment.

Develop and implement a comprehensive development program for UVU Athletics which is consistent with college wide development activities.

Enhance community relation by promoting community involvement and developing financial support.

Direct athletics development and external relationships, including the executive direction and oversight of the Wolverine Club and other fund raising efforts.

Direct annual campaigns to acquire funds as well as planning and directing golf tournaments and other events as appropriate.

Maintain updated and accurate financial records of all fund raising and athletic development operations.

Support and maintain all UVU and NCAA standards of ethical conduct for athletics.
