Training & Development Services
Employee Training and Development Services offers a variety of training and professional learning opportunities to Utah Valley University employees through workshops, programs and resources. The training programs are designed with the intent of improving individual and organizational effectiveness while meeting the challenging needs of a diverse workforce. Our goal is to support and encourage career advancement and the pursuit of life-long learning.
Our training programs and services focus on eight core competencies that describe employee skills and behaviors that are important for effective performance and continuous improvement in current and future jobs at UVU. The competencies are: Think, Value, Communicate, Collaborate, Respect, Reflect, and Act.
Additionally, we offer custom workshops and special programming to help you meet your organizational development needs. We will work with you to assess your department’s unique learning needs and design and deliver programs targeted to meet those needs.
