Internships Abroad

An international internship has many advantages such as experiencing another culture, broadening your perspective, creating new opportunities for future jobs and earning academic credit. Recently UVU students have interned in Ireland, Italy, Russia, England and China. Search for structured internship programs or individual internship postings on our International Internships page.

This is what students are saying about their international internships:

"Completing an internship in England was the best experience I had in my entire life, not just my college years. Every time I interview, the internship abroad is what stands out the most to all employers."

                       -Cori Fox, Communications major

"Interning in China was an incredible adventure, educational experience, and life experience; as well as being a spring board to getting into graduate school."

                       - Dana Alan Thompson, Business Management major

Career Development Center

The UVU Career Development Center (CDC) is a resource for students and alumni to create a resume, cover letter and practice interviewing skills.  Career Counselors also meet with students about internship and job searching skills and application processes.  The CDC also hosts visiting employers looking to recruit students through Information Session, Recruiting Days, and Career and Internship Fairs.  To make an appointment with a Career Counselor contact the front desk at 801-863-6364 or careerdevelopmentcenter@uvu.edu
