International Internships
International Internships are a way to broaden your understanding of the world while earning academic credit and maintaining your status as a UVU student. An internship in a foreign country intertwines culture and academics to create a unique and rich educational experience.
Below are some resources to begin your International Internship search. For more information and assistance, schedule an appointment with a CSSE Career Counselor at 801-863-6364.
- Begin by exploring various internship opportunities and narrowing down your goals.
- Fill out an Internship Proposal (pdf) and make an appointment to meet with Dr. Danny Damron, Director of the International Center, at 801-863-8342.
- Follow the International Internship Student Checklist (pdf) for a step by step guide to the process.

Students attaining an international internship must schedule an appointment to meet with the Office of International Affairs (801-863-8897) to discuss safety and cultural issues while traveling abroad.
Students with international internships must also complete an International Memorandum of Understanding form. You may print this document from the “Forms” section or contact the Director of Internship Services for more information.
