ISEP — International Student Employment Program
What is ISEP?
The International Student Employment Program (ISEP) is a unique UVU work program that
provides international students funding that is earned through on-campus student employment
and paid at an hourly rate. The purpose of ISEP is to give students job opportunities
in their academic majors to gain work experience. Applicant priority is given to juniors
and seniors who have completed classes in their declared majors.
What is the process?
Applications are issued through the International Center. The selection committee
reviews and rates the applications, transcripts and essays. Students selected for
the program will be notified and issued an ISEP Referral Form. Next, awarded students
will visit the Student Employment office to schedule an appointment for ISEP job search
assistance. Access will then be granted to the UVU Work Study job search menu on the
UV Job Board to apply for jobs. (Students who do not have the ISEP Referral Form are
not eligible to view the UVU Work Study job postings.)
