Business and Marketing Education & Administrative Information Management

The BS in Business and Marketing Education program is designed for people who have an interest in business, marketing, and information technology and who want to teach these subjects at the secondary level. Students develop strong skills in computer applications, accounting, business, and marketing. Coursework also prepares students in educational methodology, theory, and applications.

The Certificate of Completion in Administrative Support prepares students for these careers: receptionist, data-entry operator, office support, information clerk, and entry-level administrative assistant.

The A.S. in Administrative Information Management program prepare students for these careers: entry-level administrative support, entry-level clerical support, front office assistant, data-entry operator, and administrative assistant. This program builds on the knowledge and skills developed by completing the Certificate of Completion in Administrative Support. The A.S. degree also requires the 36 credits of General Education courses that would be needed to complete a bachelor's degree.

The A.A.S. in Administrative Information Support program prepares students for these careers: administrative assistant, administrative secretary, office assistant, and front office assistant. This program also builds on the knowledge and skills developed by completing the Certificate of Completion in Administrative Support. The difference between the AAS and AS degrees is that the AAS degree requires fewer General Education courses but provides more requirements particular to the Administrative Information Support profession.
