Each student is expected to maintain academic ethics and honesty in all its forms, and to avoid cheating and plagiarism defined by the Code of Conduct:

STUDENTS SHOULD ALSO AVOID

  • Unpermitted collaboration
  • Not citing concepts, premises, and ideas, which is plagiarism just as much as failing to cite specific text
  • Submitting work that is not your own. Off the internet, from a classmate or family member
  • Sharing your answers with others in the class on take-home tests.
  • Dual submission of work. Submitting work more than once is a violation of the Code of Conduct—unless you have sought and been granted your professor’s approval
