It’s not what you know – it’s who you are!

In today’s marketplace it is not enough to acquire just knowledge and good grades. If you want to succeed, you need a firm understanding of what creates lasting success and excellence. The Center for the Advancement of Leadership (CAL) focuses on exactly that.

It is essential to think beyond your academic training and include those skills and experiences that will help develop your leadership potential.

Differentiate Yourself

The leadership certification program offers a unique approach to developing yourself as a student and setting yourself apart. Specifically, the CAL focuses on self-awareness, personal and interpersonal skills training, leadership experience, mentoring, feedback, and self-reflection.

If you are looking for that competitive edge, come to our next Master Mind session (the first Monday of each month during the academic year) and stay for the new-student orientation. At this session we will review the Leadership Certification Program and  answer all of your questions. Come and check it out.

Leadership Certification and You

The  CAL  gives you the opportunity to participate in the Leadership Certification Program. This program provides you with new insights, skills, and hands-on leadership experiences with a focus on developing your entire self, not just your intellect. As a graduate of the Leadership Certification Program, you will receive a graduation medallion, special recognition on you college transcript, special recognition on your diploma, and a customized letter of recommendation. This certification demonstrates to future employers and graduate schools that you come pre-trained and ready to perform at higher levels than graduates who focus solely on academics.
