Serials Mission Statement

The mission of the UVU Library Serials staff is to provide patrons access to current, retrospective and electronic periodicals by checking in, processing, binding, and shelving serials in a timely manner. Collection maintenance will be accomplished through the prompt claiming and replacement of missing issues, the preparation of donations, and the communication with the subscription agency and various vendors. The staff will continue to find ways to improve efficiency, keep up with present status, plan for the future and prepare to face new challenges.
