State Textbook Adoption Program
Last Updated: May 19, 2009This program is administered by the State Office of Education. Each year publishing companies who wish to participate in the program are required to send copies of their pre-publication texts and curriculum series to participating organizations, including Utah Valley University. The Textbook Commission reviews the materials and determines which texts are approved for use in Utah schools. The purpose for sending copies of the materials to the higher education sites is to expose pre-service students to instructional materials before they become teachers.
