The George Sutherland Archives

The George Sutherland Archives houses and maintains a small collection of rare books. The Archives are not actively collecting rare items; however we will happily consider donations of historical significance which fit within the scope of our current collection policy which focuses on:

• The history of Utah Valley University
• The history of local cities, mainly Orem, Lindon, and Vineyard
• Utah County history
• General Utah history
• The history of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

Donating to UVU Special Collections

Special Collections welcomes donations of any rare books, manuscripts, or memorabilia that fit within our current collection guidelines. However, since our scope is narrow, it is necessary for the Archivist to determine whether the items will become part of our collection. If you are interested in donating, please contact the Archivist first to discuss the items you wish to donate.
