Citing your sources is the last step of the research process. Citing a source means that you document, formally, where your information came from. The two most commonly used citation styles at UVU are MLA and APA.

As you search for sources, keep track of where you find your information. You will need to know the names of journals, volume and issue numbers, dates and page numbers, and publication information.
