Introduction to Calculus Course Objectives
Introduces the student to differential and integral calculus with applications to
a variety of fields, including business, economics, and the life, social, and physical
sciences. Develops and applies the concepts of calculus to functions of one variable.
Studies differential calculus involving functions of several variables. Emphasizes
understanding and communication of mathematical ideas, logical reasoning, and problem-solving.
