Math Pass is an online individualized mathematics review course that provides an opportunity for students to complete one or more math courses in a single semester. Students may complete MAT 0950, MAT 0990, MAT 1010, and MATH 1050 within one semester depending on their motivation, concept mastery, and determination.
Steps for Completion
· Register for MAT 090R - Individualized Review after obtaining CRN number from Robert Williams, Developmental Math Advisor, or Debbie Miner, Math Pass Coordinator
· Purchase online computer program
· Create individualized study plan
To Create an Individualized Study Plan
· Begin with the MAT 0950 diagnostic test
o Score > 80% - Advance to next level (MAT 0990)
o Score < 80% - Complete study plan generated by the program
§ Take MAT 0950 final exam (contact Debbie Miner to schedule)
· Complete MAT 0990 diagnostic test
o Score > 80% - Advance to next level (MAT 1010)
o Score < 80% - Complete study plan generated by the program
§ Take MAT 0990 final exam (contact Debbie Miner to schedule)
· Complete MAT 1010 diagnostic test
o Score > 80% - Contact Debbie Miner to schedule final exam
o Score < 80% - Complete study plan generated by the program
§ Take MAT 1010 final exam (contact Debbie Miner to schedule)
Upon completion of MAT 1010, students have the option of enrolling in the Math 1050 challenge program. To complete Math 1050 challenge program, students must pass a department final with a score of 70% or higher.
