Media Checkout
Media Services & Engineering currently has equipment available for checkout through the Library. Go to the Library Circulation desk to checkout items.

Media Equipment Checkout Policy:
- These items will be available for faculty check-out only (except the student media equipment).
- On-campus check-out will be for three hours and the faculty member must sign the check-out document, leave their driver’s license and UVU identification card.
- Off-campus check-out will be for a set time period that must be agreed upon at time of check-out and may not exceed 5 business days. Requires departmental approval (signature of department chair). Departmental approval should be attached to this sheet.
- Student in-library-use laptops may not leave the library for any reason and may be checked out for 3 hours.
- All data must be saved on disc, flash drive or to network directory.
- A fine of $20 / hour will be assessed for late material.
- All items must be returned to the library 1hr prior to closing.
- All items will be checked out at, and returned to, the 1st floor circulation desk.
- Borrower must wait while contents are verified. Items will be checked for operability before being checked-out again. Borrower will be notified if media item is inoperable.
- Machine problems should be reported to circulation staff at time of check-in.
- Items must never be left unattended. Borrower will be held responsible for loss due to negligence or theft.
- Borrower is responsible for damage due to negligence or unfamiliarity with equipment.
- All users must adhere to UVU’s appropriate use policy.
