Native American Initiative ProgramLaunched in 2011, UVU’s Native Initiative program includes national recruiting, retention initiatives, a Summer Bridge program (“Vision Quest”), Title VII partnerships, numerous academic, cultural, leadership opportunities and fund-raising projects to encourage indigenous students to enroll in higher education. American Native American students have access to scholarship funding through their tribes, and with an active initiative program, UVU’s Native student population has been steadily increasing. |
