The George Sutherland Archives & Woodbury Art Museum present:

75 Years of Campus Life
JUL 26 – SEP 24, 2016

To celebrate 75 years of Utah Valley University, the George Sutherland Archives and Woodbury Art Museum have mined our collections to find objects and documents dating back to the 1940’s. Revisiting five school iterations, visitors will travel through archival photographs, vintage student artworks, and campus documents from Central Utah Vocational School, Utah Trade Technical College, Utah Valley Community College, Utah Valley State College, and finally Utah Valley University. Each gallery also hosts a “selfie station” that invites patrons to photograph themselves in different decades. We are glad to present 75 Years of Campus Life as part of this notable, milestone year.

What decade will you dress in? Don’t miss the special Closing Reception on SEP 20, 6-8P. This is a participatory event! Don your best from the 40’s, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s or today. While costumed you’ll enjoy free refreshments, music, and seven decades’ worth of art and history.
