Art of OUR CENTURYJune 3–September 24, 2011Annual juried show featuring artists from the western United States. Erin Linder, Director of Exhibitions at the Kimball Art Center in Park City, Utah, was this years juror. Kathleen Kastles won the purchase award for "Stand Up Surfing, Dryland Version #1." Honorable mention awards were given to Nathan Barnes, Larry Goodin, Carol Milne, and Elizabeth Morisette. Taylor Wright won the visitor's choice award. |

Dichos: Words to Live, Love, and Laugh by in Latin AmericaOctober 18 - November 30, 2011
Truck and bus drivers in many parts of Latin America take great delight in inscribing dichos, a saying, proverb, or amusing expression, on the bumpers and other surfaces of their vehicles as a way of conveying their personal feelings and worldviews to a broad audience. Dichos is a traveling exhibition from the Mid-America Arts Alliance and Exhibits USA.
Sensing Brazil October 18 - November 30,2011 Contemporary Brazilian artworks on loan from the Museum of Latin American Art in Long Beach, California. Sensing Brazil was part of the UVU International Center's Global Spotlight Program. |
