-kinesis is a compound term assigned to words connoting action: physical, sensory, or conceptual. The 2017 Art of OUR CENTURY show calls for art relating to the idea of movement in all forms. Art Movements, Kinetic or Social Sculpture, Video, physical fluidity, interactive design, and emotional instigators are just some examples of relevant entries. Whether an agitation, a long journey, or a gentle progression, all work that “moves” is desirable.
