Cello Fest

The UVU Cello Fest aims to promote the sharing of insights on cello performance and teaching, and to provide a gathering opportunity for Utah’s community of cellists. Events at the 2014 UVU Cello Fest will include master-classes led by renowned cellist and pedagogue, Paul Marleyn (for more information on Mr. Marleyn please visit: http://www.paulmarleyn.com). In addition, there will be workshops led by Utah cello specialists, competitions for high school and junior high school students, cello choirs, and a final concert with performances by Mr. Marleyn.  The event will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 8 am to 5 pm on UVU's main campus. $20 registration fee for participating cellists. Free admission for audience members.
