Jeb WallaceHornist Jeb Wallace enjoys a distinguished career as a performer and educator. 
Since joining the UVU faculty in 2010, he has performed throughout the state with
numerous ensembles including the Utah Symphony,  Utah Chamber Orchestra
(Ballet West), Utah Chamber Artists, Utah Wind Symphony, and as a guest artist
with the Salty Cricket Composer's Collective.  He also performs regularly as a
member of the UVU faculty wind and brass quintets.

Dr. Wallace previously performed throughout the country with a variety of
orchestras including the North Carolina Symphony, Richmond Symphony, American
Symphony, Harrisburg Symphony, New Haven Symphony, New World Symphony, I
Musici Montreal, The Dallas Wind Symphony, Canton Symphony, Erie Philharmonic,
and the Cleveland Orchestra, while a fellow at the Blossom Music Festival.

As a chamber player, he has concertized with the Dickinson Wind Quintet, Alarm Will
Sound, TACTUS, Montpelier Wind Quintet, and the Hora Decima Brass Ensemble. 
He has also performed at many summer festivals including Sarasota, Norfolk,
Roundtop, Music Academy of the West, Blossom, and Music Masters in Kazusa (Japan).

Dr. Wallace previously served on the faculty at Susquehanna University, James Madison
University, and Dickinson College. He also taught in the pre-college division at The
Cleveland Institute of Music and Stony Brook University.

He earned degrees from Stony Brook University (DMA), Yale School of Music (AD), The
Cleveland Institute of Music (MM) and Southern Methodist University (BM).  His primary
teachers were William Purvis, Eli Epstein, and Gregory Hustis.
